1) When Iruka was eight, he set off so many explosives that he singed off his eyebrows and the hair of one of his instructors.

2) Jiraiya drinks and ogles women, Tsunade gambles, Kakashi angsts, Kurenai reads, and Asuma plays shogi. Iruka patches clothes and sews.

3) He does not think he will ever have children. The shinobi lifestyle is too hard and too cruel, and there is little time for romance. But he is and always will be a father.
