1) He enjoys the dreams of cities far more than the dreams of their inhabitants.

2) He once created a room lined with black velvet and lit by flickering candles in the castle when his then-love dumped him. It even had gargoyles. No one knew about it, except possibly Death, who somehow knew about everything.
