I suspect that none of the three have any idea what happened, but that deep down inside, they felt some unnamed anxiety disappear and were all the better for it. And I bet Gojyo would pester Goku for an explanation, but that Goku wouldn't give one, Hakkai would smile knowingly, and Sanzo would say nothing.

But after that, I think Sanzo would freak out less about caring for Goku, even though he would never admit to caring, much less freaking out about it, in the first place.
