Of course, I have no idea how good they are, but it is still much better than the zero I had yesterday!

Alas, I am insane and took a pinch hit while in the midst of finals, and that one is still at zero, as I am still reviewing the source. Gaaaaaah what was I thinking?!

Sadly, being a basic account does not let me create polls, so I ask everyone how they are doing with their Yuletide stories instead.

And I'm looking at various gender and political elements, wondering if I'm striking the right balance between the needs of the canon and ... er, what ought to be, for want of a better way to put it. Er. Well, if I still have Issues after the beta, I'll get in touch with someone whose opinion I trust on such matters and ask. :D

It's official. The rough draft doesn't work and I can't salvage anything from it. I have to go back to the drawing board. ARGH.

I have 3/4 of a fic. I just keep getting sick and being unable to write. I'm kind of afraid I'm not going to manage to get beta readers in on this.

Plus, I hate what I've got. It's not a very good story (and that's only partly me being in the middle of working on it). It's a pity because I love the canon and wanted to write something actually good.
