This is a really interesting post; thank you for writing it. Also b/c I am sure there are a lot of people, like me, who have been too nervous/ashamed/etc. to talk about this stuff before, wrt our own kinks. Eeep.
I also know I am less disturbed by fantasies of people who I know are on the same political scale as me, even if those fantasies are politically disagreeable to me.
