Alas, I am insane and took a pinch hit while in the midst of finals, and that one is still at zero, as I am still reviewing the source. Gaaaaaah what was I thinking?!

Sadly, being a basic account does not let me create polls, so I ask everyone how they are doing with their Yuletide stories instead.

And I'm looking at various gender and political elements, wondering if I'm striking the right balance between the needs of the canon and ... er, what ought to be, for want of a better way to put it. Ahhahaha precisely what I thought with mine! Also, I think I just wrote myself into a corner, crap.

And now I'm obsessing over what readers will think of anachronisms that I won't be able to explain until the author's notes are revealed. I am probably the only person who even knows these are anachronisms, or cares, but still.

It's official. The rough draft doesn't work and I can't salvage anything from it. I have to go back to the drawing board. ARGH.

AIIIEEEEE! I have sent mine but it is not complete and the ending doesn't work although I think maybe I have a better idea of what the themes are now!

I have 3/4 of a fic. I just keep getting sick and being unable to write. I'm kind of afraid I'm not going to manage to get beta readers in on this.

Plus, I hate what I've got. It's not a very good story (and that's only partly me being in the middle of working on it). It's a pity because I love the canon and wanted to write something actually good.

Oh man, being sick just sucks =(. And I hate hating the story. *cheers you on*

I am done, in case you missed me being completely smug about it in my own journal. I would love to do a stocking stuffer for my recipient too but I'm not sure I'm going to get there.

Haha! Thankfully I did miss the smug post, although now I feel rather smug too for having four stories in the archive! And it is live! I am filled with Yuletide squee!!

I've got three and have had comments on them all, so I too am full of happy!
